We all want to take the kind of photographs that you see in coffee table books and the cover of National Geographic. Fortunately, brands like Canon produce some of the most user-friendly cameras on the market. Once you’ve been using an entry-level DSLR for a while, you may want to upgrade to one of Canon’s full-frame mirrorless models.

As a matter of fact, one of Canon’s best Prime Day markdowns made its way over to Crutchfield. For a limited time, when you purchase the Canon EOS R5 L Series Zoom Kit, you’ll pay $3,900. At full price, this model sells for $4,500.

Why you should buy the Canon EOS R5 L Series Zoom Kit

The 45-megapixel Canon EOS R5 brings some pretty meaningful changes to the table, especially when compared with the EOS R that came before it. New features include in-body image stabilization for less shaky photos, the ability to shoot video at up to 4K/120fps, and the inclusion of an RF 24-105mm lens in the box. The RF lens even includes a built-in stabilizer and an autofocus monitor.

With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on tap, you’ll be able to beam camera photos directly to your phone or tablet for editing, sharing, and safekeeping. Going Bluetooth also allows you to turn your mobile device into a remote shutter for the R5. A lot of settings and customizations are accessible via the 3.15-inch rotating LCD touchscreen, which has brightness controls and doesn’t smudge.

Other noteworthy features include 8K/30fps recording, Face+Tracking Auto Focus for locking onto eyes, ears, and mouths, plus a Touch and Drag AF Mode that lets you select a focus point on the LCD viewfinder. Crutchfield also provides a two-month return window for this product.

If you want to harken back to Prime Day savings for the Canon EOS R5 L Series Zoom Kit, this might be your only shot! Save $600 when you order the mirrorless model through Crutchfield, and be sure to check out some of the other camera deals and Canon camera deals we’ve been finding!

Canon also makes some of the best photo printers on the market, so it may be worth taking a look at our list of the best printer deals.

If you have a camera phone and enjoy the photography that you're doing but really want to take it to the next level, then you may want to consider springing for a traditional camera. A standalone camera offers not only better resolution and image quality, but also the option to change out lenses for different types of photography. Combine the different lenses, camera sensors, and features, and you get a lot of freedom to play around and find something that works best for your style. The downside is that cameras and lenses can be really expensive, which is why we've gone out and collected some of our favorite camera deals below, although you should probably check our guide on Mirrorless vs. DSLR before going through with a camera purchase.

That said, if you'd like something a little bit different, check out these drone deals, and for more action cameras, there are these GoPro deals, too.
