Before they can even try to attempt that, Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson) brings the world to the brink of war and manipulates Sam’s friend, Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), and other pawns to get his revenge on Ross.

So it’s just as well that her older brother, Luke Purdue (John Krasinski), just cost her that job by stealing a painting out from under nose.
Luke is an archeologist with a bad reputation, but he’s got the backing of a dying billionaire, Owen Carver (Domhnall Gleeson), to track down and locate the fabled Fountain of Youth. After Luke ropes Charlotte into their quest, the reunited siblings have to deal with an enigmatic woman named Esme (Eiza Gonzalez), who is determined to get to the fountain before they can.

The extraordinary loss is much more on marketing failures, however, than on the actual quality of the movie, which has received good reviews. Based on British pop star Robbie Williams’ rise, fall, and resurgence, Williams made the somewhat bizarre call to cast himself as a CGI monkey in the largely autobiographical film.
While the film is about the challenges of fame and success, the greatest irony is that Williams was nowhere near a big enough star to make a film like this in the first place.
