The most iconic fictional golfer returns to your screens for the first time in nearly 30 years. Adam Sandler reprises his role as the hockey player turned golfer in Happy Gilmore 2 . Luckily for fans, they can stay home and stream it on Netflix.
Fans of Jenna Ortega can catch one of her films from earlier this year, Death of a Unicorn , on HBO Max. Plus, Rami Malek’s revenge thriller, The Amateur , is now streaming on Hulu.

When his daughter receives a chance to attend a prestigious dance school, Happy heads back on the tour to earn some money. It won’t be easy rediscovering his trademark swing, but he’ll have some help from familiar faces along the way.

Death of a Unicorn (2025)
Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega embark on a trip from hell in Death of a Unicorn . Elliot Kintner (Rudd) and his teenage daughter, Ridley (Ortega), head to his wealthy boss’s mansion for the weekend. While driving to the estate, Elliot accidentally hits and kills a unicorn. Elliot packs the unicorn in the trunk and continues on his way.
After discovering the unicorn’s magic powers, Elliot’s boss (Richard E. Grant) plans to exploit the creature and monetize its healing capabilities. What the group didn’t prepare for is the threat of unicorns coming to save their own, and these animals don’t plan on doing things peacefully.
Sinners (2025)
The movie event of 2025 is now on HBO Max. In Ryan Coogler’s Sinners , Michael B. Jordan plays Smoke and Stack Moore, criminal brothers who return to their Mississippi town after years working in Chicago. The Smokestack twins plan to open a juke joint for the African American community.
Opening night is full of strong booze, transcendent music, and a whole lot of dancing. The party doesn’t stop until the arrival of Remmick (Jack O’Connell), an Irish vampire who plans to turn the guests and have them join him as his thralls. This sets off a night that the Smokestack twins will never forget in this battle for survival.

The Amateur (2025)
In The Amateur , one man proves that he will do anything to exact revenge. CIA cryptographer Charlie Heller ( Rami Malek ) receives the worst news imaginable — his wife (Rachel Brosnahan) has been killed in a terrorist attack. Through his independent investigation, Charlie uncovers the four assailants responsible for his wife’s death.
Unfortunately for Charlie, his superiors refuse to take action. That doesn’t sit well with Charlie, who embarks on a dangerous mission to avenge his wife. No more Mr. Nice Guy. It’s time to become a stone-cold killer.

In Heads of State , U.S. President Will Derringer (John Cena) and British Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) do not like each other. Derringer is a former action star who cares more about his public persona than policy. Meanwhile, Sam still believes that his actions speak louder than words. The two rivals put aside their differences to ride together to a NATO summit on Air Force One.
Mid-flight, the plane is shot down, but Derringer and Clarke manage to escape. The duo realizes their inner circles have been compromised. Therefore, they can only rely on each other to find the mole and stop an international incident that threatens global security.

Drop (2025)
After the death of her husband, Violet Gates (Meghann Fahy) eases back into the dating pool by taking a chance on the dashing Henry (Brandon Sklenar). Violet leaves her son, Toby (Jacob Robinson), in the care of her sister, Jen (Violett Beane). At a high-rise restaurant, Violet begins to receive “Digi-Drops,” which are essentially AirDrops with a different name.
These Digi-Drops start as playful memes, but as the night progresses, they become more sinister. The person sending Digi-Drops eventually shows Violet a recording of a masked intruder holding Jen and Toby hostage. To protect her family in Drop , Violet must obey the Digi-Drops, even if one instructs her to kill Henry.
