There’s been a longstanding thought process that says you can either have luxury or smarts. And we’re not talking about life, but rather in watches. Smart watches are seen as a luxury but not luxurious. Old school watches are seen as smartly designed, but not “smart.” The rising hybrid watch trend , however, shows that there is a lot of demand for luxurious smart watches.

Tag Heuer’s Connected Calibre E4 isn’t quite a hybrid, but it is most certainly of the luxury variety. Today, however, it has been marked down in price. By a lot. Tap the button below to see the Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 at a price of $1,450. That’s $900 less than its retail of $2,350 and a discount of 38%.

Why you should buy the Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4

The Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 uses the Wear OS system, giving you access to features like your heart rate and compass information on the watch. You’ll also be able to connect it to your phone via Bluetooth for the activity tracking info you expect from a smartwatch. So far, so good.

But, you’re probably not getting a Tag Heuer for a technical update, but instead for the look, style, and design inspiration of the famous watchmaker. If you take a look at our Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 review , you’ll start to see where that mechanical craftsmanship influences the watch. (Note: The watch shown in the review is a more metallic color, whereas the one on sale here is a dark black.)

Our reviewer talked to a friend that hadn’t gotten into the feel and design of regular smartwatches, calling the shape, size, and design of the Tag Heuer, “the most appealing he’d seen.” Per our reviewer, “With the right watch face, it has the classic Tag Heuer look too, but is never over the top, or worse, cheap-looking.” The buttons on the side of the watch press with a satisfying mechanical click and the crown rotates with precision. This is a smartwatch that feels good.

Right now, if you tap the button below you can get a Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 for $1,450. That’s $900 less than the suggested retail price of $2,350. If you’re not interested, however, be sure to check out these other smartwatch deals for a selection of more classic, “techy” smartwatches.

Samsung’s upcoming iPhone 16e rival is shaping up to be a value champion
Slimmer, lighter, faster, and charges as fast as the Galaxy S25 Ultra? That's quite some upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.

Samsung’s next flagship is also getting the slimmed-down treatment, following in the footsteps of the Galaxy S25 Edge and its latest foldable phone. But it seems the thinner waistline and 11% lighter weight profile on the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE will come with an odd mix of upgrades and expected downgrades in tow.

Though the design remains identical, the Galaxy S25 FE will reportedly be thinner (7.4mm vs 8mm), according to SammyGuru. Another notable upgrade is the front camera, which is reportedly getting a more powerful 12-megapixel sensor, similar to the mainline Galaxy S25 smartphone.

A brief history of folding phones and why the best is yet to come
Close up of the hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 7

If you’re a fan of the best folding phones like me, you’ll know it’s been a breakout year for the category. The new Galaxy Z Fold 7 caps a year of multiple releases that have all vied to solve the common complaints with previous folding phones and prove that they can be just as comfortable as a regular phone.

Several folding phone makers have released phones to compete in a key metric: thickness, or, namely, the lack of it. The ultra-thin folding phones sub-category has had three competitors this year that aimed to be the world’s thinnest folding phone, but only one of them also delivers the smartphone-like experience we’ve been waiting for.

Apple is eyeing a ChatGPT-like search, but it must focus beyond Siri
Siri needs an AI overhaul, but Apple must really focus on Safari to reap the benefits.
Siri asking to shift user query to ChatGPT.

It’s no secret that Apple is currently struggling to deliver a smash-hit AI product, the way Google has served with Gemini, or Microsoft has achieved with Copilot. The company has been trying a similar overhaul with Siri, but those plans have been beset by delays, and it is only expected to see the light of day in late 2026.

The delay spooked Apple to such an extent that the company inked a stopgap deal with OpenAI, which helped integrate ChatGPT with Siri, and broadly, with the Apple Intelligence stack. But it seems Apple is working on a radical in-house solution, one that would essentially be a watered-down approach to ChatGPT, but with internet search capabilities.
